The European Pain Federation EFIC is holding the fourth sitting of the Examination for the European Diploma in Pain Medicine.

The Examination will take place on the 17-18 April 2020 in Leuven, Belgium.

European Diploma in Pain Medicine Education Support Bursary

We are providing bursaries for 30 participants in the 2020 Examination for the European Diploma in Pain Medicine. The bursary will cover the entire registration fee including any VAT. Recipients of the bursary will therefore pay no registration fee, only their travel and accommodation costs.

Decisions on bursaries will be made at the point of registration, therefore we encourage people to apply as soon as possible if they wish to receive the waived registration fee.

Bursary recipients will be chosen on the basis of;

  • Age and career stage, with a focus on early-to-mid career professionals
  • Geographical distribution, with the aim to encourage participation from the widest range of countries possible, and to encourage participation from lower income countries. Applicants from EFIC chapters will be prioritised.

Applicants are asked to register as normal, providing all the necessary documentation for their registration, plus a brief cover letter indicating their interest in applying for the bursary.
