Call for Submissions!

We are now welcoming individuals to submit a proposal for Oral Submissions and Poster Abstract Submissions under the ISPP 2025 website. Present your research to pediatric pain professionals and connect with key stakeholders in the field at ISPP 2025.
Submissions Categories

Symposia: Groups of abstracts submitted together around a common theme. The presentations tend to be data-driven on projects completed or near completion but can also include presentations that do not include empirical data. Each symposium will be 75 minutes in length, with a maximum of 3 speakers, 15-20 mins per speaker with 15-30 mins discussion.

Workshop: Follows a similar format to symposia, with data-driven presentations, but includes the opportunity for “hands-on” experience. Each workshop will be 75 minutes in length, with a maximum of 2 presenters, up to 20 mins per presenter with at least 35 mins “hands-on” time. Examples include quantitative sensory testing workshops, behavioural coding workshops, patient engagement workshops, and digital interventions workshops.

Panelists’ Dialogues: An audience-interactive format in which panelists make short, relatively informal presentations that serve as a springboard to stimulate discussion amongst panelists and the audience. Each Panel Discussion will be 60-75 minutes in length. In proposing this format, your proposal must indicate who will chair the session, what exact format it will take (e.g., topics for open discussion, questions posed, etc.), and who will participate as panelists (no more than 5). Expectations regarding audience contributions to the dialogue must be explicit.

Poster Presentations: Graphical presentations of research. Presenters will have the opportunity to discuss their research with interested colleagues in an informal setting. Authors may indicate if they would like their submission to also be considered for a rapid communication paper (a short, original research presentation). Suitability will be judged by the Scientific Program Committee. Student poster submissions that are original and/or significant will be judged by the Scientific Program Committee for an award.
